The Prosperity Tip 2 - Working with multipliers
There are certain things in life that when applied carefully and thoughtfully will always multiply our fulfilment levels, success and of course profits. When it comes to profits these multipliers are easiest to measure. I reckon they fall roughly into three camps:
Things you need to start doing e.g. measuring your marketing responses; adding marketing approaches; writing a newsletter; sending press articles
Things you need to stop doing e.g. procrastinating; wasting money on inefficient marketing; giving away free services; undercharging
And things you need to do differently e.g. be more creative about customer service; stay relaxed with people who stress you out; stay light at times when you usually get fearful
When you choose to start, stop or change any one of these things they will have an amazing effect on your profits - be those financial or emotional. Write yourself a list of possible multipliers under the three headings. Take action on one of them; decide which parameters you will measure the response with (happiness levels, turnover, profit, new client enquiries ...), take action, measure and adjust.
